Services

LifePath Christian Ministries aims to love, honor, and serve every person who walks through our doors. The ultimate goal is transformation from the inside out. We start by meeting their immediate needs for food, shelter, clothing, and/or medical care, and then encourage guests to take in our life-changing programs and services.

Cole’s drug addiction was out of control. When he lost his job, he hit rock bottom.

“I was living on the streets, and I literally gave up on life,” he says. “I didn’t want to end up like that. You don’t grow up thinking you’re going to be homeless by the age of 30. It’s not something you aspire to be. So I wanted to find a way to get back on track.”

Thanks to the support of friends like you, Cole is now “back on track.”

Our men’s services include:

  • a shelter offering meals, beds, clothing, chapel, and supportive guidance. Medical and mental health services are also available.
  • classes for those who want to improve themselves and be engaged in their own transformation. These classes may include life skills, job preparation, Bible study and more.

It adds up to a holistic approach aiming for spiritual, emotional, vocational, and physical health, with the ultimate goal of equipping men to flourish personally and in the community.

Your generosity makes it all possible. Thank you!

When Jade, homeless and five months pregnant, first contacted LifePath Christian Ministries, she was desperate.

“When I called, I was crying,” she remembers. “I was scared. But the director was so sweet. She was just like, ‘Don’t worry. You’re going to be okay. Just come in.’”

Jade went, and that’s exactly what happened. She was welcomed with unconditional love, and everything — including her baby — ended up better than “okay.”

That’s what your support does for people in desperate situations — you help to turn a situation that’s less than “okay” into something far better.

The first purpose of our women and children’s program is to provide, through shelter, meals, and clothing. The second purpose is strong course work designed to help women grow spiritually, to develop life skills, and more — everything they need to flourish personally and in the community.

We accomplish that with a combination of our own staff and volunteers, and through partnering with local agencies that provide the services that we can’t — like medical and mental health services, addiction treatment and recovery, and more. It all adds up to a holistic approach that fosters complete transformation.

But even when our guests “launch” back into the community, we don’t just leave them alone. We’ll continue to be there for them.

None of this happens without the generous support of friends like you!

Community Meals are served in the dining room Monday thru Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Enter through the front of the Men’s shelter at 367 W. Market Street.

Your support goes a long way toward providing tens of thousands of meals, served free to the community, every year.

But it’s more than merely putting a plate in front of a hungry friend. LifePath also educates guests about nutrition and a balanced diet, helping them become self-sustaining via wise grocery shopping and meal planning.

Our ultimate hope and prayer is that our food services represent more than just a meal. We want to serve with love, hope, and encouragement, and ultimately help our friends take that first step toward new life and a fresh start.

Thanks to your generosity, we’re able to serve almost 75,000 meals a year!
