Thank you so much for wanting to help your neighbors in need! Community support is vital to LifePath Christian Ministries, and there are many ways you can jump right in and serve:
We are blessed by our volunteers, and, frankly, we couldn’t get the work done without them. With around 5,000 volunteers logging more than 30,000 hours a year, they’re indispensable!

Interested in volunteering at the Women and Children’s Shelter? You need clearances!
Here is the link to our clearance PDF and instructions:
Volunteer Background Clearance Form
- A copy of Background Clearances must be provided by any individual(s) wishing to work with children under the age of eighteen. Pennsylvania clearances are valid for 60 months (5 years).
- An FBI Clearance must be obtained for any individual who has resided in Pennsylvania for less than ten years, pursuant to ACT 153 of 2014.
- If you have not lived in the state of Pennsylvania for 10 years or longer, you must get your fingerprinting completed. If you have lived in the state for 10 years or longer, please sign the Volunteer Background Clearance Form and turn that in with your other clearances.

If you’ve never toured LifePath Christian Ministries, or if you’re trying to figure out where you might volunteer, a tour is a great place to start. Among other things, you’ll discover:
- that there’s a 3rd floor to the York Economy Store
- that we have 15 bathrooms (stocked entirely on donations)
- that we store enough food to serve over 75,000 meals per year!
A tour of the facilities is a perfect way to see how we help people in need.

Prayer is vital to LifePath Christian Ministries. We are blessed by your prayers for LifePath and the lives we touch. A suggested list of prayer needs:
- men, women, and children struggling with physical, emotional, and spiritual pain
- men, women, and children who are victims of abuse
- men, women, and children who turn to LifePath for help
- our guests who truly desire change, and for their hearts to be open to the gospel
- our staff for wisdom, patience, kindness, and encouragement
- our funding needs to always be met, so we can meet the needs of others
- praise God for the lives being transformed at LifePath
- praise God for staff and volunteers who are ministering daily to people in need
- praise God for donors who keep our doors open

LifePath holds various events and fundraisers throughout the year. Whether you help serve a meal, distribute blankets, attend an outreach event, or any of a number of other opportunities, you’ll be helping people in need.
